BEN PHILLIPS
I am a theatre maker, performer, director and acting and movement coach, who searches for the line between tragedy and comedy in my work.
ABOUT ME
I am a passionate believer in the power of stories and their potential to bring about positive change. Current projects include my solo show The Long Way Home and performing in The Twilight Hour by Periplum.
THE LONG WAY HOME
Every year, for the last 30 years an absent father has sent his son an empty box for his birthday. This year, following his absent father’s death, the son decides to find out why.
The Long Way Home is a glorious, fantastical and absurd quest to come to terms with an absent father’s inheritance.
‘Ben Phillips is a truly fantastic performer.…. It was a thoroughly enjoyable piece of theatre.’
